The 12-cylinder 6-litre twin-turbocharged Continental engine has a maximum power output of 582 bhp. The twin-turbochargers are refined to improve responsiveness at low speeds, which, combined with the 8-speed close-ratio transmission and a Variable Displacement system, offer a significant reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
There is an advanced all-wheel-drive system that ensures the utilisation of all of the power produced by the W12 engine, instantly adjusting the power between the front and rear wheels as required and enabling the large Continental GT to accelerate with ease. Traction is superb, allowing increased performance and enhanced safety in all weather conditions, whilst Electronic Stability Control (ESC) works alongside the AWD system to ensure a balanced and controlled ride no matter what your driving style.
The influence of the 1950’s R-Type Continental is clear in the design of the new Bentley Continental GT. The wide, confident sporting feel and familiar haunch line are continued into the contemporary model, and the interior is exquisitely finished, with extraordinary handcrafting and a level of refinement that creates an unrivalled luxury travel experience.
The sporty steering wheel is sculpted to give an assured grip, with paddle-shift gear selectors revised for ease of use. The ‘cobra’ design seats include a front-seat ventilation system as well as a wonderful seat massage system, and these are complemented by Bentley’s touchscreen technology, which includes an advanced navigation system, tyre pressure monitoring and Bluetooth connectivity.
There is also an impressive infotainment system, with 15GB of music space available and option to play music on your Ipod, MP3 or on the 6-disc CD changer. The Continental GT is one of Bentley’s success stories, occupying a unique place as a 2-door, 4-seat GT. The latest model has been slightly upgraded, with an increase of 15 bhp for the W12 engine, an improved fuel economy of 5% and stiffer suspension. It has incredible grip on the road, with an advanced AWD system allowing you to take corners at speed. This is a car for long distance travel, for those that want to cover as much ground in as short a time as possible, whilst enjoying a drive of extreme comfort and luxury.

Despite it size, the AWD Bentley has tremendous grip on the road and accelerates with remarkable ease. There is plenty of room for two in the front, as well as two in the back and a 358L boot space, ideal for long distance travelling.
