L’Albatros restaurant housed within Hôtel du Golf, is located just on the cusp of Saint Etienne. A stunning hotel with an audacious design interior, it is the perfect venue for your next big event. Whilst the hotel is located just 5 minutes from Saint Etiene’s busy city center and the Châteaucreux TGV station, it still manages to successfully eschew and ambience of calm and picturesque serenity, offering open space views of the Saint-Étienne Golf Club that lies just beyond.

 

L’Albatros restaurant, is nothing short of utterly charming, take your seat within the comfort of the trendy interior room, outdoors on the terrace in full view of the panorama or luxuriate with a sumptuous brunch beside the pool. This location lends itself as a venue for a family celebration, a business lunch or for a romantic and intimate supper for two.

The menu offers an A La Carte option, amidst other menu selections that include express, swing, Albatros specials and children. Keeping everyone happy with the great variety on offer. On selection from the Albatros menu the Snail Gratin Provençale was wonderful served with vegetable julienne and a basil sauce, we followed this with the piglet filet mignon cooked in a port wine sauce, and served with fried wild mushrooms and gratin dauphinois. All beautifully complimenting each other with a distinct and sophisticated flavour.

 

All in all the cuisine on offer presented a wonderful reflection of the luxury lifestyle that the hotel’s ambience fills around you.
