Fitted with a 3.0L V6 340 Supercharged engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Jaguar F-Type Convertible is capable of delivering an outstanding performance; making 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and hitting a top speed of 260 km/h. It can achieve an incredible 450 Nm of torque and rewards drivers with a responsive and refined drive, with precise handling and control.
There is a water-cooled intercooler that reduces the air intake temperature for greater efficiency, whilst an intelligent Stop/Start system further improves the fuel economy by up to five percent. The automatic transmission is extremely fast and brilliantly refined, with eight closely-spaced ratios keeping the engine in its optimum rev range for as long as possible, creating an immediate driving response and superb driver feedback.
The transmission monitors the driving conditions and driving style at all times, adjusting accordingly for an incredibly dynamic driving experience, the steering is quick and responsive and the F-Type’s forged aluminium double wishbone suspension ensures immense stability. The damping is optimised for a dynamic yet refined drive with enhanced control, handling and agility, whilst the powerful braking system has excellent stopping power.
Aerodynamics are built into the design of the F-Type Jag, and its powerful shape and stunning proportions ensure its superb sports car performance. A lightweight aluminium body is strong and rigid, with an evenly distributed front to rear weight distribution for optimum balance.
