The Jaguar F-Type is a brilliant performer, with agile handling and responsiveness. It comes with a powerful 3.0L V6 supercharged engine that produces 335 bhp, shoots from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 259 km/h. Controlling it’s immense power is Jaguar’s performance braking system, with 354 mm front and 325 mm rear disks with Silver callipers. It has sports suspension, electric power assisted steering (EPAS) and an active sports exhaust that releases an incredible sound, whilst the lightweight aluminium body provides the rigidity required of a powerful sports car.
Weight is distributed evenly to the front and rear for optimum balance and agility and it has a low centre of gravity that reduces body roll when cornering. The intelligent automatic 8-speed Quickshift transmission is immediately responsive for refined and fast gear changes, as well as being able to adapt to the driving style and demands of the road.
The cockpit is designed to optimise visibility, with a low driving position and supportive seats. The dashboard is clutter free and simple and there is a wealth of advanced driver assistance systems to help you safely push this powerful sports car to its limits.
You’ll find Cruise Control and an Automatic Speed Limiter, Vehicle Sensing and Blind Spot Monitoring, as well as Bi-Function HID Xenon Headlights for enhanced road visibility. Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) are also included, in addition to driver and passenger airbags. 18” alloy wheels and LED signature lights emphasise the car’s sporting credentials, as do the deployable door handles and deployable rear spoiler.
In the cabin you’ll find leather sports seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel and an 8-inch colour Touch-screen display, as well as a generous boot space of 407 litres, with room for a set of luggage or two sets of golf clubs. The F-Type Jaguar offers outstanding performance and handling, with a supercharged V6 engine that is seriously fast. The 8-speed transmission responds quickly and the ride is smooth and controlled, there is plenty of grip on the road and steering is precise and responsive. The driver-focussed cabin is simply yet beautifully designed, with a touch screen infotainment and supportive sports seats. It offers generous luggage space, plenty of room for driver and passenger and comes with a sat-nav, 18” alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity and rear parking sensors.
