Maserati Quattroporte Review
Car Summary
The Maserati Quattroporte is a luxury 4-door sports sedan with incredible power and finesse. With a powerful 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 410 bhp at 5500 rpm and 550 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm, this four-seater sports car shoots from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and to a top speed of 284 km/h. Enjoy the thrills of high performance motoring from the comfort of a luxury saloon when you hire a Maserati Quattroporte.
The Quattroporte is unmistakable as a Maserati; its oval grille and imposing bonnet ensure this stylish saloon is instantly recognisable and the design is strikingly modern, with an LED light cluster and twin steel oval tailpipes adding to the muscular stance of its back end. The V6 engine delivers an impressive performance, and an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission gives light and precise gearshifts. There are five drive modes to choose from, including normal, sport and I.C.E, enabling you to choose your ideal driving style. Brembo brakes have been optimised to guarantee high performance braking at all times, and the variable suspension is designed to adjust to all kinds of road conditions. The fuel economy is good, achieving a combined figure of 26.9 mpg, and there are plenty of advanced safety features for your peace of mind and enjoyment.
Inside, the cabin is luxurious and extravagant, with a three level dashboard and Maserati Touch Control touch screen infotainment system. Handcrafted Italian leather is in abundance, and an elegant briarwood finish is applied to the centre of the dashboard, centre tunnel and door inserts. There is plenty of space for passengers in the back, with heated individual seats to ensure everyone enjoys a drive of comfort and luxury, and a generous boot capacity of 530 L for truly comfortable and luxurious four-passenger car.
Reviews“Impressively agile on the open road for such a big vehicle”
With typical Italian character, the Maserati Quattroporte is a large car with plenty of power. It feels most at home on the open road, taking long distances in its stride. Steering is responsive, suspension firm and the brakes has excellent stopping power. The eight-speed transmission feels intuitive and delivers speedy gear-shifts, and the V6 engine pushes the Quattroporte to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. This is a technically advanced grand tourer with good fuel efficiency and impressive power.
“The entertaining and imposing new QP could be our limo of choice”
The large Maserati Quattroporte is a great drive in spite its size, with a 3.0 L twin-turbo V6 engine, electro-hydraulic steering and a superb 8-speed ZF transmission. It demonstrates excellent handling and responsiveness, hits a top speed of 305 km/h and has a 0-100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds. A new multi-link suspension delivers a firm and smooth ride and the stylish interior is typically Italian, with plenty of leather, wood and aluminium. The exterior is suitably menacing, with 21” alloy wheels and muscular styling.
