The practical styling and sophisticated interior are true to the values of Mercedes, and with light steering and good stability, the V220 BlueTEC is a brilliant vehicle for driving both in town and on the open road.
A 4-cylinder, 2.1 litre diesel engine is paired with the latest 7G TRONIC PLUS transmission, and the V220 BlueTEC is capable of achieving 0–100 km/h in 11.8 seconds whilst returning 45.6 mpg and emitting just 163 g/km CO2. Dynamic styling includes 17” alloy wheels, halogen headlights and privacy glass, whilst the exquisitely finished cabin includes gorgeous leather seats, heated front seats, 7” tablet display and touchpad controls.
You’ll find advanced technology including Garmin® MAP PILOT navigation system and a range of entertainment and communications systems to ensure maximum comfort and pleasure of all passengers.
The Mercedes V220 BlueTEC is also big on safety, with a range of innovative driving aids such as ATTENTION ASSIST, which monitors your driving characteristics and looks for signs of fatigue, SIDEWIND ASSIST, which ensures stability in high-wind and ACTIVE PARKING ASSIST that helps you to steer into even the tightest of parking space. This esteemed people carrier emphasises both luxury and versatility, offering generous space for eight adults and electric sliding doors on both sides to allow for ease of entry.
Reviews“With eight seats and a van-like shape it shares with the Mercedes Vito van it’s based on, the modern V-Class is one of the most practical cars on the road”
The 2.1L diesel engine produces 187 bhp and makes good fuel efficiencies without sacrificing performance. The Mercedes V-Class has a distinctive front, but it is the in the beautiful interior that Mercedes have really excelled, with a touchpad controller and innovative two-piece floating dashboard design. The drive is very comfortable with adaptive dampers adjusting to the road. There is good stability at speeds, and easy steering makes this the ideal MPV for urban driving.
“The V-Class sports a big chrome grille combined with intricately designed headlights usually the preserve of posh executive saloons”.
Leaving behind its predecessor the Vito van, say goodbye to bland colours and rusty surfaces, and get ready to welcome a new era of the Mercedes Benz V class, that gets much acclaim for its big chrome grille and distinctly Mercedes, think S Class executive, look. While the bull front end, long body and flat roof line unmistakably remind you that this is a van and one of practical utility at that, you have to admire the luxury linings, little touches that help to enhance the joy of the drive. Most loved features include the copious amounts of interior space, the more than standard plush interior, self parking systems, sat nav and all round power doors.
“This is a front end design that we wouldn’t mind waking up next to every morning”
With a sculpted bonnet, upright radiator grille and headlights, the Mercedes V-Class is a practical yet stylish MPV. Power-operated sliding doors open on both sides and once inside the cabin, you’ll see what this MPV is all about. The cabin is of typical Mercedes quality, with Lugano leather upholstery, multifunctional steering wheel and the latest COMAND infotainment system. The V-Class is ideal for driving through the city with parking assist and light steering, whilst also proving pleasant to drive on the open road.
