The DB9 is fitted with an incredible 6.0L AM11 V12 engine that can produce 510 bhp and effortless torque of 620Nm. It is the lightest DB9 that Aston Martin have produced so far, allowing this powerful GT to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds whilst remaining remarkably fuel-efficient.

Advanced carbon ceramic brakes have been fitted to control its immense power and a new suspension system known as Gen4 has been designed for the DB9 to increase stability. An Adaptive Damping System (ADS), with Normal, Sport and Track modes allows the driver to adjust the DB9 to their personal driving style and the lightweight aluminium body is constructed to maximise strength and rigidity.

The muscular design and athletic stance of the DB9 emphasises its power and agility, with a low engine position and near perfect 49:51 weight distribution giving perfect proportions and fine balance. The streamlined design is combined with advanced engineering to make this the most aerodynamic Aston Martin ever built, and this is soft top convertible is one of the most attractive drop-tops you’ll find on the road. The cabin is meticulously crafted using the highest quality materials, with ‘racetrack’ stitching, real glass control switches and seven hides of leather for superior luxury and enjoyment.

Advanced HID Xenon headlights increase seeing ability for clearer night driving, and whether you choose to drive with the top up or down, you will enjoy the incredible sound of the DB9’s mighty engine, finely tuned by Aston Martin’s very own sound engineers.

Although Aston Martin claim the new DB9 Volante is 30 per cent stiffer than the previous model, this is still a car for cruising rather than all out extreme motoring. It is a car to get noticed in and to make a scene, so sit back and appreciate the beautiful sound of the V12 engine emanating through the tailpipes. This is the perfect car if you are looking for a big, noisy convertible that sits in a class of its own.
