Rolls-Royce Phantom Review
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is an iconic car of timeless beauty. Hiring a Rolls-Royce Phantom rewards you with the ultimate first class travel experience in one of the most powerful and technologically advanced motorcars on the planet. Embodying the spirit of this prestigious luxury car brand, the Rolls-Royce Phantom really is as grand as it gets.
A direct-injection 6.8 L V12 engine and 8-speed transmission ensures an incredible performance, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and to a top speed of 241 km/h. It makes 720 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm and 453 bhp at 5350 rpm, and for such a large vehicle, at 2760 kg, the Phantom is surprisingly agile. The steering is accurate and responsive, and the drive is impressively refined even at full acceleration. State-of-the-art technology unifies the drive train, suspension and steering for superb driver control and a dynamic connection to the road.
The Rolls Royce Phantom has a striking road presence, with its elegant curving roof, chrome exhaust and 21” alloy wheels enhancing its impression of power and speed. Exclusivity abounds in the luxurious cabin, where 800-fibre optics are placed inside the roof to bring a romantic night sky effect into the cockpit and heated seats and soft leather ensure you’ll remain exceedingly comfortable wherever you travel.
There is plenty of space for passengers to move around and windows are well placed so that you can sit back and enjoy the view. Hinged coach doors allow driver and passengers to simply step in and out with elegance, so whether you are celebrating a big occasion or attending a VIP red carpet event, make sure you make a big arrival in an exclusive Rolls Royce Phantom.Reviews
“The 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom, in all of its forms, demands attention and delivers the utmost in motoring luxury”
The peak of the luxury car market, the only competition for the Rolls Royce Phantom is the equally luxurious Bentley Mulsanne. The flagship of Rolls Royce’s models, the Phantom is an executive sedan with massive rear-hinged doors and classic Rolls Royce proportions.Tall and upright, and fitted with the highest quality hand-stitched leather, full-grain wood and chrome trim, the Phantom is a true expression of motoring opulence. This is really a car to be driven in, with a chauffeur at the wheel, and once inside the cabin, you will be in awe of its quality and comfort, as well as its fine attention to detail.
“A necessary indulgence for the super-rich, the Phantom is the ultimate luxury car”
The Rolls Royce Phantom is the pinnacle of luxury motoring, combining tradition with modernity to create one of the most beautiful cars on the road. This is a car you will enjoy both driving and being driven in. The 6.75 L turbocharged 12-cylinder engine gives incredible speed, whilst the 8-speed transmission allows the ride to remaining smooth and genteel. The cabin is impeccably handcrafted and looks reassuringly expensive, with soft leather, wood and chrome covering every possible surface, and a luxuriously deep shag carpet. This decadent car is worth every penny as the ultimate luxury car.
“The Phantom is the epitome of British motoring, embodying all that has made the marque a legend in the world of automobiles”.
Composed of a 453 hp and a 6.8 liter V12, the Rolls-Royce Phantom represents the height of excellence in the already prestigious realm of British motoring. The eight speed automatic transmission allows for a gradual and smooth build up of power that finally reaches its maximum as the Phantom tears up the tarmac at 240 km/h. However, if possible these gear changes are even faster than they are smooth, where a 0 to 100 km/h sprint can be flagged in less than 6 seconds (not that it’s the sort of thing you would do in a Phantom of course). As the Phantom is available in both standard and extended wheelbase formats, options seem to be the essence of the Phantom’s mystique. A wide variety of luxury interior trimmings can be relished from the controls on the infotainment system to the hand stitched leather upholstery and the additional layer of shiny lacquer on the car’s exterior. Everything that you can possibly expect from a hand crafted vehicle built in England.
