When you arrive in Monaco aboard the luxury Rolls Royce Phantom rental, the first port of call is, and always should be, the Monte Carlo Casino. The are a few rules to the game of when attending the historic and perhaps world’s most glamorous Casino. Firstly, doors only open at midday, which is fair enough when you consider the last night’s most dedicated patrons departed only two short hours earlier. Passports must be produced, as interestingly there is no entrance for Monaco’s locals. Also, and perhaps most importantly, dress standards apply where guests are expected to attend in formal evening attire. The throws of fashion are often putting this subjective criteria in dispute. The manager reports though of shorts being once excluded, that is until one particular fillie arrived in a haute couture satin, fur-timmed delicate number. “Well we couldn’t quite deny her the privilege, could we now?”
The Rolls Royce Phantom is an iconic car of a timeless spirit. In entirely unique fashion it beautifully weaves together high performance driving, an aristocratic composure with the knowing sparkly of Rolls Royce’s prestigious reputation. Built with a 6.8 liter V12 engine that is blended with an 8 speed transmission, this high bred executive chauffeur delivers an incredible performance on the roads across Monaco. Acceleration is uncompromising with a maximum speed of 341 km/h and a recorded 0- 100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds. However it achieves these impressive figures thanks to its power configuration which makes 720 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm and 453 bhp at 5,350 rpm. Yet knowing this is all the more impressive when you consider this high powered and well appointed vehicle weighs 2,760kg, making sure that this is one agile, if not elegant beast.
An integral section of the Monte Carlo Casino is the Salle Gamier Opera House, designed to replicate the Paris Opera House, it welcomes its many guests within its very plush interior of gold gilded frames, royal box seats and an enormous stage. Despite the strong associations, it is not all sunglasses and sun bathing down on the banks of Monaco. Hire the luxury Rolls Royce Phantom as this strip of sunshine coast appreciate refined taste more than anywhere else. Enjoy a spell of shopping, a meal at a fine dining restaurant accompanied with an award winning bottle of wine. Life in Monaco doesn’t get better.
