The direct injection V6 engine with twin turbocharger produces 329 bhp and 480 Nm of torque, pushes the Mercedes E400 Coupé from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 250 km/h. The fuel-efficient ECO start/stop system shuts off the engine when idle, while the 7-speed automatic transmission includes two overdrive ratios to enhance fuel-efficiency and is responsive at all speeds. Agility Control Suspension automatically adjusts the individual shock absorbers according to driving style and road conditions, and you’ll find handling sharper and the ride more stable thanks to valves inside the shock absorber that automatically stiffen during more dramatic movements.

There are various driver assistance programmes to improve your driving experience and enhance your safety, including Attention Assist that monitors driving behaviour, adaptive braking technology that ensures optimum braking performance and an electronic stability programme (ESP) to ensure stability and control, particularly in corners.

It looks great, with an aggressive front bumper and sleek side profile and is powered by a potent turbocharged V6 engine. It has the same boot space as the four-door sedan, making it ideal for carrying golf clubs or luggage, and the ambience of the cabin is relaxed and comfortable.

It is an expensive car, but with incredible performance and style it is well worth the money. Designed to replace the V8 E500, the E400 has a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine that sounds awesome on the road. It takes 0-62 mph in 5.2 second and has a good efficiency, making 37.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 177g/km. It comes with loads of standard equipment, including 19’ alloy wheels, AMG leather sports seats and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. The drive on motorways is brilliantly refined and controlled, and there is a raft of safety features, including active lane assist and rear collision detection.
