The Mercedes S500 is part of the high performance AMG line, and comes with a 4.6L V8 cylinder petrol engine that produces 455 bhp, generates 700Nm of torque, makes 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and hits a top speed of 249 km/h. An AMG Line L 7G-TRONIC PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission allows for impressively fast gear changes, whilst Speedtronic cruise control automatically adjusts vehicle speed to ensure a safe distance from cars ahead. The S500 is equipped with a wealth of advanced safety equipment, including driver assistance programmes such as Attention Assist, Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Crosswind Assist.

The Mercedes S500 L is a brilliant luxury car to travel in. The drive is incredibly quiet and comfortable, and the cabin is luxurious and spacious. The S500 L is seriously fast, and the drive is one of the most refined you will ever experience, shutting out wind noise on the motorway and keeping the engine sound to a minimum. Passenger space is generous, and you can choose between the short wheelbase or the long wheelbase model depending on your driving and storage needs. The S500 L comes with a good level equipment as standard, with additions including rear entertainment screens, a 24-speaker surround sound system and heated seats.

The Mercedes S-Class is sublime, with an incredibly quiet twin-turbocharged 4.7-litre V8 in the S500 and an automatic gearbox that moves smoothly into seventh gear with ease. The drive is remarkably calm, and occupants benefit from a brilliantly low level of road noise and an incredibly comfortable ride. The exterior styling is stunning, with a prominent grille and large angular headlights, as well as top-rate aerodynamics incorporated into the design, whilst the cabin is beautifully calm and simple, with an elegant dashboard, heated seats and a high-end surround sound system.
