Audi Q7 Review

By Mark Aria - Lifestyle Adventurist and Adrenaline Junkie

Car Summary

A distinctive SUV with a long wheelbase, the imposing Audi Q7 allows seven passengers to travel in comfort and luxury. The Q7’s powerful diesel engine makes use of Audi’s advanced fuel-injection technology and innovative ‘quattro’ permanent all-wheel-drive system to create a luxury SUV with excellent off-road credentials.

An 8-speed tiptronic transmission helps to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, whilst allowing fast gear changes and a sporty performance.

With a seamless design that is classic Audi, the Audi Q7 successfully combines the laid back look of a GT with the muscular strength of a powerful 4x4 SUV. Adaptive air suspension regulates the ride height to ensure the Q7 remains aerodynamic at high speeds whilst maintaining good ground clearance off-road, and heated leather seats and dual-zone electronic climate control enable luxurious comfort for all passengers. Alloy wheels, cruise control and electric windows are standard, while Sat Nav, Bluetooth and Audi Music Interface are also available.

Rent an Audi Q7 for a robust luxury SUV with outstanding performance on all-terrain.

This large SUV boasts sporty handling without compromising road comfort. The Audi Q7 manages corners well, gearshifts are smooth with the 8-speed tiptronic transmission and it has impressive fuel efficiency, with the 3.0 TDI returning 39.2 mpg. Its vast boot, once the third row of seats are folded, is large enough for every kind of family need, whilst the dashboard is stylish and simple and the cabin is well equipped with Audi’s latest infotainment systems and luxurious leather seats.

“Refinement is a big part of this big 4x4”

The Audi Q7 may be large, but with its size comes responsibility and the Audi Q7 demonstrates impressive fuel efficiency without compromising its off-road capabilities. The Q7 happily sits seven passengers, with a flexible third row of seats for extra storage if required. Seating is incredibly comfortable and the Q7’s cabin controls are user friendly. Electronic traction and stability aids, as well as Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system, ensure passenger comfort and safety in all conditions, and the Audi Q7 is a luxury SUV with family appeal.
