“Brute power and a traditionally unassuming design make the S8 a wolf in sheep’s clothing”

The Audi S8 is an incredibly powerful sedan in an unassuming body. With an impressive twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V-8, eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive to ensure power is distributed to all four wheels evenly, the S8 packs a punch on the road. It’s sumptuous interior and use of Audi’s advanced technology means the Audi S8 is well deserving of its luxury car status.

The hottest version of the Audi A8, the S8 is fitted with a turbocharged 4.2L V8 engine that enables this near two-tonne Audi to hit a speed of 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Acceleration appears effortless and the Audi S8 scores points in fuel efficiency, with a cylinder deactivation system that shuts down four cylinders when cruising, for a fuel economy of 27.7 mpg.
