In the land of ice capped mountain tops, yodelling and chocolate fondue, hire the luxury Maserati GranTurismo Sport in Switzerland and travel through this nation’s exquisite countryside in exceptional style. Switzerland is scattered with many fascinating sights that will leave you utterly enthralled. In the Maserati GranTurismo Sport we recommend a visit to the Maggia Valley, where in the small Hamlet of Mogno can be found the Mario Botta's Mountain Church. Entirely unique, the building comprises an elliptical in shape from the outside, with black and white steel shapes and a curving roof. In similar fashion the interior has a checkerboard design that reflects the same black and white shades. The church was designed by the celebrated architect Mario Botta.
The Maserati GranTurismo Sport is the exceptional protege of its forbearer the GranTurismo, but with an engine that has been reworked and the suspension enhanced for greater performance and reliability. Constructed with a 4.7L V8 engine, the GranTurismo Sport produces 460 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. This configuration is paired with an MC Auto Shift automatic transmission that delivers a satisfying drive and awesome traction on acceleration. The tech on the Maserati GranTurismo Sport includes a double wishbone suspension that is controlled by a ‘Sport Skyhook System’ specifically designed to be responsive to varying road conditions as it continues to automatically adapt itself to provide an extremely smooth ride at all times.
Another must-see but less heard of location, is the Zurich Museum on Rails. This entirely charming and all-together mobile exhibition huffs and puffs its way along the Sihltal railway between Zurich central station and sometimes Wiedikon to conclude in Sihlbrugg. The historic railway museum offers guests the rare opportunity to have an engine driving course on an old electric locomotive. People with any background experience in driving trains are invited to provide useful support in maintaining and operating the classic locomotive engines.
