Explore the culinary side of Zurich, with more restaurants, bistros and cafes than you could ever possibly poke a stick at, there are so many different varieties, styles and international flavours to choose between. Perfect for the occasion, rent a BMW in Zurich for a gastronomy tour that will see you coming back time and again for more.
There are a lot of classic traditional Switzerland meals that are quite the treat. Try Zürigeschnätzlets, a chopped veal dish that is served in a creamy white sauce and is traditionally served with Rösti, the locally made hash-brown where the potatoes are boiled, grated and the pan fried in butter until crisp. Grilled Würstec is also a very popular dish along with Chnöpfli which are little noodle dumplings. Many of these traditional dishes can be found at places like Gambrinus, located on the Langstrasse, who serve dishes with an excellently brewed beer. Rosalys is another great option with a very enticing cocktail bar.
Hire the BMW M6 Gran Coupé to arrive at Coco Grill & Bar. The M6 Gran Coupé is considered by many to be the pinnacle of BMW’s M-range, as it masterfully combines high performance with everyday practicality. Coco Grill & Bar is a grill restaurant that while it has a set menu for lunch, likes to keep an element of surprise for dinner (albeit, either meat of fish). The restaurant has a great selection of local wines such as a white Chasselas or red Pinot Noirs. We recommend a visit in the summer where you can comfortably enjoy the ambience of the small cottage garden.
For an elegant evening out to accompany a show at the opera, book a table at Mesa Restaurant on Weinbergstr. Hire the BMW Z4 and drive a dynamic roadster, retract the automatic hardtop and with the cabriolet’s fantastic sporting looks and stylish elegance, ensure this will be a memorable evening to last you a lifetime. The Mesa, is perhaps less of a restaurant and more of an institution of culinary excellence, with 17 points from the Gault Millau Guide and one star from the Michelin Guide. This establishment offers a traditional menu with a unique catalan twist. It is widely considered to be one of Zurich’s finest restaurants.
