Frankfurt is a treasure chest filled with fascinating historical buildings, monuments and artwork. While sadly many of the most prized buildings, particularly those in the inner city were brought to rubble in the aftermath of the second world war, some of the most significant buildings to German history have been meticulously restored. Thus, still very much a tourist haven rent an SUV in Frankfurt to set out and explore!

For a day’s adventure in Frankfurt hire the Range Rover Autobiography V8 Supercharged to visit Römerberg. Most of the area of Römerberg has been meticulously restored to its former glory. In particular the grand town hall the Cathedral St Bartholomeus which have strong historical significance as in this cathedral the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire were knighted in the 17th and 18th centuries. Whilst there, make sure to climb to the top of the tower as the views of Frankfurt’s skyline is breathtaking.

This fortified tower was constructed in a fantastically characterful Gothic style and certainly an eye opener.
