Double It Up in Dublin

Mark Aria - Lifestyle Adventurist and Adrenaline Junkie

Dublin, may well be the capital of Ireland, but it is loved the world over for its nightlife, ancient castles, enigmatic culture and of course its excellent beer.

Hire a luxury SUV in Dublin, be it the Porsche Cayenne, a BMW X5 or the Range Rover Sport as any of these 4WD SUVs make for a perfectly enthusiastic and athletic travelling partner.

From behind the wheel of your Dublin SUV rental drive out to the wider Dublin area. Howth, located just to the north of the city makes for a very enjoyable day’s excursion. Enjoy a walk along the peninsula and take in spectacular views as you watch the waves crash against the cliffs with terrific force.

The best time of the year to go is around the summer months, from July to September as the heat cloaks the cliff in a magnificent scarlet red colour. On your arrival into Hoth you can also take a boat ride that goes out of the harbour and circumnavigates its way around the island’s that are dotted in the cobalt blue seas off the coast. It is possible to disembark from the boat, where upon you can set out to explore the monolithic ruins and with any luck you might be able to see it, claiming the island for yourself.

Back on fertile grounds of the mainland drive onwards to enjoy a very satiating dinner at The King Sitric fish restaurant. The fish served, is always fresh having been caught just that day, they are tenderly prepared according to traditional recipes and taste absolutely delicious!
